Sick Boy

My poor little boy is sick. He had is 18 month checkup on Friday and got 3 shots. Friday night he was very cranky and didn't eat much. Saturday he had some fever, wouldn't eat, was very cranky, and didn't sleep well at all. We just kept thinking it was from the shots. Sunday was the same so Joby stayed home from church with him. We had another long night Sunday night so we called the doctor Monday morning and took him in. He has the hand, foot, and mouth virus again! He had it back in April too. He has ulcers all in his mouth and throat. Last time he didn't get any blisters on his hands or feet and doesn't this time either but he does have them around his mouth. They look so painful...I can only imagine how the inside of his mouth feels! No wonder he wouldn't eat anything! Poor thing is miserable. One second he will be laughing and playing having a great time. One little thing happens and he's screaming and in tears. Hopefully this won't last much longer. It's so hard seeing your kid in pain and not being able to fix it (except doping him up on motrin and tylenol)! He's starting to hate taking medicine!Best thing about being sick.....MILKSHAKES!
