I have the best mom in the world! She came and spent a week with us helping me get Dakota's "big boy" room ready. We sanded down an old dresser and bed and painted it...orange! Pictures of that to come!! Nana had a great helper the whole time. She was wearing a rubber glove while sanding so Dakota had to go get his Handy Manny gloves and tools! Notice that he had to have no clothes on. This is our new thing....either underwear only or naked boy!
Dakota thought the car needed a little work since he's Handy Manny. He took his stool and tool box out to the driveway to work. Daddy came to help on his lunch break.
Then Toodee and Brobee (Yo Gabba characters) needed to go for a ride in the stroller.
After a long days work, it's time for a hot meal at Elmo's Restaurant.
My sister and sweet little niece came to spend a night with us. We had fun giving Kyra pig tails now that her hair is long enough. Isn't she the cutest little thing!?!?!
Well it took the whole week but we got Dakota's new jungle room mostly finished. It was such a humid week that it took the paint forever to dry and then second and third coats were needed. I just need to get a few little things for some finishing touches! Thank you Momma and Denea for coming to help. I couldn't have done it without y'all!!
