Dakota turned 15 months yesterday. We had his 15 month checkup today and everything went great, until he got his shots. That's never fun! We are so blessed to have such a healthy beautiful baby! Here are his stats:
22 lbs. 8 oz. (25th percentile)
31 1/4 in. (50th percentile)
(75th percentile for head circum.....takes after his dad)haha
Dakota is so smart and has learned so much lately. We are amazed at how much he can do and say now, even since his birthday. He is such a happy and friendly baby most of the time but has started having a major attitude! He is practically running everywhere. He loves Mickey Mouse and does a great "hot dog" dance. He can sign eat, more, milk, please, and all done. Dakota LOVES reading books. His favorites are Goodnight Gorilla and his Animals book (he loves the dog and cat page). Dakota loves cell phones and likes to call his cousin Trae. He'll put the phone to his ear and just talk away to Tae Tae. His favorite toy right now is his building blocks with animals on it. He likes to help stack them up and then knock them over with all his might! His best buddy is Romo (our 4 lb. yorkie) and unfortunately the feeling is not mutual:) Dakota chases him around and Romo just runs for his life. Dakota has about 30 words in his vocabulary that we can understand. We are dealing with some major separation anxiety right now. He cries everytime I take him to Bible class and won't leave my side if we are with a big group of people, unless dada is around. Biting has become an issue. When he gets mad he tries to bite anything that's close. He has 7 teeth right now and Dr. Naylor said she felt the buds for his molars so they will be coming in soon. Not looking forward to that! God has truly blessed us with the cutest little boy in the world! We are so in love with him!
