A Fun Week

This has been a very busy but fun week for us. Dakota and I went to the library on Monday for storytime. We met some friends from church there. Dakota loved reading the book and listening the story and songs. On Tuesday we went to my friend Jennifer's house in Ft. Worth for a playdate. We went swimming in their pool and the kids had a fun time playing. Wednesday we went to the Old Town Aquatic Center in Lewisville. Dakota is starting to really like playing in the water. As long as I'm close of course! Friday my sister and her husband came to spend the night with us. Saturday the guys played frisbee golf while we walked around the park. Dakota and I rode back to Rockwall with them and my parents picked us up there. We spent the night and went to church with them in Greenville. Joby met us back in Rockwall Sunday for lunch at my sister's apartment. Dakota got his first haircut there. (that post is later) On top of all that we had VBS this week at church. I helped my friend Lindsey in the craft room. It was fun watching all the little kiddos but made me remember why I'm not a teacher anymore!! I was really worried about leaving Dakota in the nursery but he did great. And as great I mean he stayed in the nursery. While he was there however I think he was a little nervous and unsure. They took the kids that could walk to the fellowship hall for snacks. Joby and I had to sneak around so that he didn't see us. We watched him walk out with his little friends. It was so cute and he looked so grown up!
