Potty Trained

This post probably has more detail than most of you care to read but I wanted to keep record of it. Dakota had been doing pretty good at keeping his pull up dry for longer periods of time. He started telling me when he tee-teed in it and sometimes would tell me on time. I decided to take him to Wal-Mart to buy him some "big boy" underwear. I made a really big deal out of it and he was sooo excited! He wanted Scooby Doo I guess because Trae had some but we found some with Toy Story on them which he is crazy about right now! He actually did pretty good the first evening we let him wear them. He would tell us he didn't want to tee-tee in them. The next day he had only two accidents. The next two days he didn't have any accidents all day!! He didn't always tell me but I stayed on top of him and caught him holding himself a few times.

We went to Lubbock for Memorial weekend. He kept his pull up dry the whole way there! We stopped twice for him. The second time we were driving thru Post and right at the light next to McDonald's he told us he had to tee-tee. Perfect timing!!! Dakota stayed dry the whole weekend in Lubbock and even woke up from naps and mornings dry! We are so proud of him! He has really caught on and is doing great!
