First Night Away

Dakota and I spent our first night away from dad! We left Sunday morning and met my parents at their church. Uncle Kade rode along with us to keep us company. Dakota was actually really good the whole way (about an hour and a half) and as soon as we walked in to church he started crying, of course! I thought I was going to have to feed him but he went back to sleep in his "Grandmother's" (not sure what to call her yet) arms. Well, he didn't cry during church but he grunted the whole time! My mom made a delicious Sunday lunch and we spent the afternoon just being lazy. That night we watched a movie and Dakota layed on my moms lap and looked around the whole time. He was so good to let mommy watch a whole movie!! Dakota got to stay in the living room with "Grandmother" watching him while mommy got to get some rest. All I had to do was get up to feed him and my mom took care of the rest. I'm not sure how much sleep she actually got but I sure appreciated it!! Today we walked around the Greenville mall. We didn't have his stroller with us so my mom and I took turns carrying his car seat around. It is so heavy! He can't get any bigger!! Uncle Kade took over when he got there. On the way home Dakota slept really good. I guess the mall wore him out!! We had a great time at Grandpa and "Grandmother's" house but I think daddy really missed us!
