Easter #2

What an awesome Easter day!! We started off with a stop at the donut shop on the way to church followed by a wonderful service. My brother Cason and his girlfriend Ginny, their two friends, and Joby's brother, Jett and Carrie joined us at church and then we enjoyed yummy burgers at Red Robin. Jett and Carrie came over to hang out and watch Dakota hunt eggs. We were so excited that Dakota started walking a week ago so that he could hunt Easter eggs. We made him a little basket full of his favorite snacks and eggs. I think he had more fun pulling the grass out of the basket. Dakota was so funny to watch hunting his eggs. We just threw a few eggs out in the yard thinking he wouldn't really know what to do yet and he's still a little wobbly walking. He grabbed his basket and took off (falling a couple of times)for the eggs like he had done it for years. He bent down and grabbed the eggs and put them in his basket like he knew just what to do. It was so funny to watch. Then he realized there were snacks in them so he had to take a few breaks from hunting to do some munching! We had a great day! Happy Easter everybody.
