We were so blessed to have my mom here with us to help out. She came as soon as I went on bed rest and was here most of that time. I don't know what we would have done without her! It was very hard to lay on the couch and watch someone else take care of my house and kid and give orders but I'm so grateful that she was able to be here. Dakota LOVED every minute of it. He had a constant play buddy (poor Nana!) I think he wore her out! ha My mom was able to go home for a week after being here for 5 weeks and then came back for a week after Mikah was born. I was so sad to see her leave but I'm sure she was ready to be home!
