On September 8th, we were blessed with another beautiful, healthy baby boy...Mikah Brae Raymond. He weighed 6 lbs. 13 oz. and was 20 inches long. I was induced at 38 weeks and after a stressful 6 weeks of bed rest the Lord blessed me with a very easy delivery. We went in at 5:45 am but didn't start the process until around 7:00. Mikah made his appearance at 1:57 pm. He is wonderful and the most perfect baby. The doctor and nurses went on and on about how pretty he is. We only had to stay one night in the hospital and were released after his circumcision the next evening.
Dakota meets baby brother for the first time. I got tears in my eyes when I saw Dakota's little smile looking down at his new brother:) He was so proud of him.
Dakota even brought Mikah a present, winnie the pooh bath toys and a vibrating teether. He was so excited to give it to him! Dakota was very anxious and nervous all day. Even though he had seen momma in the hospital several times before, he knew this time was different. By the end of the day the poor kid got sick in the waiting room. Joby had to take him home and he got sick several times more. Luckily he ended up sleeping good and Joby was able to come back to stay with me and Mikah. I'm guessing it was just nerves and not eating good all day because luckily it didn't last.
Mikah meets the grandmothers....they're not a bit excited, can you tell?
